Growing Origin

It seems that Electronic Arts are more than a little serious about their digital delivery system, Origin. The have just signed deals with 11 more publishers to distribute titles via the platform.

According to a report by GamesIndustry.biz, EA have added Trion Worlds, Robot Entertainment, CD Projekt RED, Freebird Games, Recoil Games, Autumn Games, 1C Company, inXile entertainment, Paradox Interactive, Core Learning Ltd and N3V Games to Origin.

"Origin is focused on providing choice to consumers and the games they play," Craig Rechenmacher, Origin's VP of business development and marketing, said.

"From blockbuster franchises to high-quality independent titles, we're bringing the industry's best content to one place. We're excited to welcome new partners and a diverse new line-up of titles to Origin today."

EA still have a way to go with the service, though. The current offering is around 100 video game titles, while Steam (Origin’s biggest competition) offers over 1500.
